Who wants Feminists to Dictate?

We all have heard about the feminist movement of the day. And we all may have different opinion about their work and beliefs. I have mine: The truth is that although those in the leadership of the feminist movement, such as now at present time, do not represent anything close to the majority of women, they presumptively purport to represent their interests. “Their” interests are not the interests of the American female, but rather the political agenda of the feminist leadership, which is decidedly leftist.

These feminists had been conditioned to accept the whole feminist ideology, which went way beyond equal opportunity. The roles defined by nature for men and women had become clouded in their minds. This led to all kinds of confusion, suspicion, and distrust between the sexes.

Men and women eventually just didn’t know how to function around each other. It degenerated to the point that men would wonder if they should open a car door for a woman. The confusion was running rampant. Chivalry had become synonymous with male chauvinism. Roles, defined by nature, were now obliterated and everybody was running around trying to be what they thought they should be, which was certainly everything but themselves. For a while it became sensitive to cry. It was a beautiful thing. After a few years of that, women started complaining that there were no real men anymore, so men stopped crying. It wasn’t pretty. The feminist leadership vowed revenge and retreated to plot a new destructive and divisive strategy.

It’s almost as if America went through its own Cultural Revolution in the 1970s and early 1980s. Everything went crazy for about ten years, and only now are we seeing young people who now view those years as somewhat bizarre. But, of course, things aren’t yet completely rational or back to normal. There are plenty of people who want to resurrect and supercharge the feminist Cultural revolution.

Men have not reconciled themselves to all of this. There’s a lot of resentment out there against feminism. It’s being forced on people. Changes that might happen naturally are being shoved down people’s throats. It’s not what most men want. It’s not what most women want. Time magazine reports that 63 percent of American women reject the feminist label. Increasingly, feminist groups are viewed as a fringe element who, because they are incapable of assimilating into mainstream society, are exacting their revenge on it. They are trying to change society to make it conform to them, rather than accept the fact that they are not the mainstream.

Levels of Learning

In Fundamentals of Instructing (FOI) we learn that there are different levels of learning, namely:

  1. Rote Level – This is the most basic level of learning. At this level the student can repeat the steps, and duplicate the action demonstrated, however, he/she may not have any understanding of why it is done that way, and what exactly is happening in the background (or technically) resulting in the desired outcome.
  2. Understanding Level – At this level the student develops a basic understanding of what exactly is happening, and why it is done in that manner.
  3. Application – At this level of learning, the student can apply the knowledge learnt and can cause the desired result.
  4. Correlation Level – This is considered the highest level of learning, and at this level the student can correlate between all the different things he/she has learnt and can apply them in various different situations, and can even perform correct complex tasks.

In Guru Granth Guru Nanak explains the levels of spiritual learning as follows:

  1. Dharam Khand – At the level the student can perform one’s duties sincerely and may not have any understanding of why.
  2. Gian Khand – This is where the student develops the understanding of God, His greatness and His true attributes.
  3. Saram Khand – At this level the student gains the purity of mind and heart.
  4. Karam Khand – At this level the student acquires the divine grace and true spirituality.
  5. Sach Khand – At this level, with the grace of the Almighty, the student enters the realm of God, and is beyond the human and worldly experiences. Here be becomes one with God.

I have been teaching aviation for a while, and the FOI is the basic human psychology that we teach the flight instructors so they can understand the mental state of the student better, and can teach appropriately.

Guru Nanak’s followers are called Sikhs, and the literal translation of the word Guru is teacher and Sikh is student.

Why is Santa Clause Better Than the Religious Jesus

Author: Yeap Chee Seng

When I was in my religious church, I used to wonder like my fellow Christians on why has Christmas become a celebration of Santa Clause. Isn’t Christmas supposed to be the birthday for Jesus Christ? How did this Santa Clause manage to sneak in? No matter now hard we tried to tell the public that Christmas is about Jesus and not Santa, no one bothers. Why? In this article, I will seek to explain this phenomena.

Please note that I use the term “Religious Jesus” to mark it as a separate entity form the true Jesus of the Bible. The Religious Jesus is the Jesus preached by the religious churches and this person is the exact opposite of the true Jesus of the Bible.

“How do you know that?”

I was once a member of a religious church. Please go to the following link for information on my past: http://cheee.wordpress.com/about/

Let us start from Santa Clause. What type of a man is he? He is happy. He is kind and generous. He always laughs. He gives out presents unconditionally out of love. He only has one law: Be good and you will get presents. Be naughty and you won’t get any.

Even then, he is very forgiving. Even if you are naughty for the whole year and be good only in the last few days prior to Christmas, you will still be qualified for presents. Whenever he talks to you, he used kind words. Children love him. He doesn’t condemn you nor put you down. He doesn’t lay burdens nor guilt on you.

His favorite words: Ho ho ho. Laughter. He loves to laugh. He creates happy mood. He lifts up your spirit. His only weakness is he only works once a year.

How about the Religious Jesus?

In my view, he is the worst person ever existed. He is a hypocrite, sadist, liar and evil. Whatever evil you can think of, he can do exceeding abundantly worst than that. For some unknown reasons, religious churches love him and promote him.

Here is how he operates:

If you are not a Christian, he will tell you how much he loves you. He loves you so much that he is willing to die for your sins. His love is selfless and unconditional. He wants you to accept his love and be a Christian.

Once you have become a Christian, the evil face appears. Now that you belong to him, you are to obey his every instruction. He wants you to read the Bible, pray, go to church, give him money, serve in church and go for missions. He doesn’t like disobedient children and he will not hesitate to punish anyone who dares to disobey him.

Whenever you pray, he will tell you all your faults. If you sin, he will condemn you for sinning. If you do good, he will tell you it is not enough. No matter what you do, he will find ways to put you down.

If you disobey him, beware! He can give you or your family accidents, sickness or any other disaster. Ironically even if you tried your best to obey his every command he can still give you or your family accidents, sickness or any other disaster. In a nutshell, nothing is beneath him. He can sink to any level, any perversion.

When that happens, you are required to praise him for his goodness.

He also loves your money. It does not matter to him how poor or needy you are. He wants you to give him money. It is his glory to see you poor and sick.

Do you dare to ask him for prosperity? I don’t think so.

Based on the above comparison, who will you choose to spend time with? Santa Clause or Religious Jesus? I go for Santa Clause anytime.

However, I have a good news and a bad news for you.

The bad news is: Santa Clause does not exist.

The good news is: neither does the Religious Jesus.

The Jesus of the Bible is exactly opposite from the Religious Jesus that is preached in the religious churches.

Here is some simple comparison:

Religious Jesus: I want you to stop sinning. I will not hesitate to take stern action to punish you if you still sin.

Jesus of the Bible: I paid for the penalty of your sins. Sin has no power over you now. You are free. Come to me. Together we are going to beat this sin of yours. Remember, I am always on your side against your sins.

Religious Jesus: Sometimes I will give you sickness for any reason I choose. After all I am God. I can do anything I like. I can be as perverted as I want to be. Even then, I expect you to praise me and tell others what a good God I am.

Jesus of the Bible: At the Cross, I took away all your sickness. By my stripes you are healed. Sickness and disease has no right to oppress you. Stand up to your right. I paid dearly for you healing. It pleases me to see you healed. Start believing in me and claim your right of healing.

Religious Jesus: Give me all your money. I love your money. It does not matter to me how poor you are. If you are poor then continue to be poor for my glory.

Jesus of the Bible: At the Cross, I was poor in order to make you rich. It does not matter how bad your situation is right now. As long as you keep believing, you will receive my prosperity. Even if you are very rich now, I can still give you more. It is my glory to see you rich.

Religious Jesus: I want you to do things for me like serving in the church and going for mission. I don’t care how much you need to sacrifice. I am God. If you think you are in a bad shape right now, I can make it worse if you dare to disobey me.

Jesus of the Bible: I appreciate any intention of yours to do things for me but I want you to remember this: You are the one I love. My love for you is not dependent on the things you do for me. Even if you stop doing those things, I still love you.

Conclusion

I hope this simple article is able to help you to tell the difference between the true Jesus and the Jesus invented by the religious churches.

How to Write a Persuasive Essay

Author: Linda

Writing a persuasive essay is much like preparing for a debate. You need to study your persuasive essay topic from various perspectives, establish your main argument and gather supporting evidence. You also need to know how to write a persuasive essay, namely how to organize parts of the persuasive essay in the way that will work best.

Try the following instructions on how to write a persuasive essay. They are indispensable in writing a well-planned and thoroughly considered persuasive essay.

Start with an Impressive Lead-In

The introduction of your persuasive essay is the first words you utter to render the readers to be well-disposed to you. Moreover, it is by the introduction that the reader decides whether to go on reading you essay or leave it in peace. Thus, the introduction of your essay should be attention grabbing and impressive enough to induce the reader to read further on.

  1. Writing a persuasive essay , you need to pay particular attention to the first sentence you are going to write down, namely a lead-in. It is the most important part of the whole persuasive essay, out of which you come out either a winner or a loser.
  2. To write a strong and impressive lead-in, try the following strategies:
    • start with an unusual detail;
    • put a strong statement;
    • quote a famous person;
    • introduce a short and up-to-the-point anecdote;
    • open the essay with a statistic or fact;
    • start with an emphatic rhetorical question;

Before deciding on one of the strategies, try all of them. You will be surprised to find out how different strategies can enrich and smarten up the introduction to your persuasive essay.

After you have put the opening sentence, be sure to introduce a sentence that will show that you see both pros and cons of the subject matter under consideration. Then write a thesis or focus statement, which has to reveal your own point of view. A well-formulated thesis statement is the key to success, as it is the central part of your essay, around which all other parts are organized.

Remember that a good introduction should be brief, concise and end with a closing sentence that will be transitional to the next paragraph.

Support Your Thesis in the Body

The body of your persuasive essay is the main part of your writing where you present supporting evidence and elaborate on the reasons you stated previously. The body should be a proof that you have researched and examined your persuasive essay topic and that your arguments are reasonable and reliable.

In order to prove your thesis statement and dispel the opposing arguments, you need to: 1) state the facts of the case; 2) prove your thesis with arguments; and 3) disprove your opponent’s arguments in three consecutive steps.

Statement of facts is a non-argumentative presentation of details, summaries and narration concerning the problem discussion. In this part of the body you should present supporting evidence without stating your own point of view and trying to persuade the readers in it.

First, you should remind the readers of some events, provide vivid illustrations that will show the significance of the topic. Statement of facts should be clear, brief, and vivid. If you obscure the facts, you are defeating the purpose. Thus, delete irrelevant information and information which contributes little to the reader’s understanding.

After you’ve introduced some facts, you can get down to proving your thesis with arguments. This should be the longest section and the central part of your persuasive essay. With the readers rendered attentive by the introduction and informed by the statement of fact, you must show why your position concerning the facts should be accepted and believed.

Now comes the time to deny the truth on which the opposing argument is built. Be patient in thinking over the refutation. It is the most difficult stage that needs time, concentration and absorption.

The proven way to hook readers’ attention is to leave your strongest argument for last so that to leave them with your best thought.

Write a Memorable Conclusion

Your conclusion should be a “mirror image” of your introduction. It means that you should refresh the reader’s memory and remind him of the thesis statement you put in the introduction. It is not a mere waste of time or words, but the best way to convince the reader to take your side.

As well as in writing the introduction, you can try several ways to write a memorable conclusion for your persuasive essay.

Except for restating the introduction, you can summarize the main points to enable the readers to recall the main points of your position.

A nice way to conclude the  persuasive essay  is to write a personal comment or call for action. It could be:

  1. your prediction;
  2. a question that will let the readers make their own predictions;
  3. your recommendations to solve a problem;
  4. a quotation. It’s up to you to decide!

The last line of your persuasive essay, that is the “tag line,” needs special attention, for it is the second most important line after the lead-in. Thus, it is important that it:

  1. renders the readers to be well disposed to you;
  2. magnifies your points;
  3. puts the readers in the proper mood.

Once you have put the full stop after the “tag line”, your work is over. But make sure that the words you have put in your persuasive essay will be “working” long after your readers stop reading it.
